The day after

Maybe you understood my little reference😉 Anyway, welcome back👋 Today's post will be a little different. I won't talk about the book. I will try to write a diary entry of an fictional student about the day after Hannah took her life. It may be not as funny as the last posts (if they even were funny) but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. Have fun (or not)❗

Dear Diary (let's forget this),
today was a very sad and strange and different day on school. But let's start at the beginning. When I walked to school everything was still normal, a day like any other. But when I entered it seemed that something terrible must have happened and that nothing was normal. On the floors nobody was screaming, everybody was silent. Everybody looked on the ground. I didn't know what had happened but I hoped it wasn't an another car crash where someone had died. Suddenly my friend appeared next to me and told me what had happened. It was even worse than I had imagined. Hannah Baker this sophomore one grade higher than me had killed herself. After my friend had told me this terrible incident I was shocked, I couldn't believe it. So it took me a while to get my bearings again. Without any words my friend and I entered the classroom. And like before on the floors nobody made any noise. It was spooky. And like the others I was just sitting on my chair thinking how something like that could have happened. How I could have missed the signs. I questioned me that so much this day. I was also thinking whether I am responsible for her death. Have I done anything to her what could have led to her suicide? Then a teacher came in but it wasn't Mr Porter. Maybe he was sick or something like that. When the teacher was speaking her voice was very low and she whispered. The class was terrible. Everybody, even the teacher, couldn't really participate on the class. But the second class was much more terrible because we had class in the classroom of Hannah Baker. In the middle of the room there was her desk. It was empty. That distracted everyone of us. Imagine sitting next to the empty desk of a dead person. You can't think of something else. And the question gets louder in your brain: Why did she killed herself? You're feeling so empty as the desk is. It's like having a big hole in the middle of your stomach. Back in class: When the teacher asked a question nobody raised their hand and the teacher didn't mind. Everyone just wanted that this day will end as fast as possible. Everyone wanted to go back home or to get a time-turner and prevent Hanna from doing this. After the class finished the loudspeakers of the school told school is over because it wasn't possible to give classes. So we went home without say "Goodbye". We were too busy with ourselves. And now I'm writing in you thinking if this was just a dream, a very bad dream...
Good bye

That was my little story. I hope you enjoyed it👍 See you at my next post.✌

IV. Why does Clay receive the tapes?

IV. Why does Clay receive the tapes? Clay, honey, your name does not belong on this list. […] You don’t belong in the same way as the others. It’s like that song: ‘One of these things is not like the others. One of these things just doesn’t belong.’ And that’s you, Clay. But you need to be here if I’m going to tell my story. To tell it more completely. If you've read the book you'll probably remember this quote. It's from Hannah, explaining why Clay is on the list. You may have your own interpretation of this quote and a different opinion why Clay received the tapes. And that is what this post will be about. But first a big warm hello and welcome back on my blog👋 As I mentioned above, in this post we'll discuss the reason of Clay receiving the tapes. I'll present you my opinion to this topic, but of course you're allowed to share your thoughts in the comments. Let's get started❗ While reading the quote I'm thinking Hannah didn't put Clay on t...

III.Characterisation

III.Characterisation of Clay Jensen Clay Jensen receive the tapes Hey guys👋 it's time for a new post. Last time, we dicussed what the theme of Thirteen Reasons Why  could be. In this post we're gonna talk a bit more about the persons in the book, especially Clay Jensen . T herefore I'm going to present you a characterisation of him. Have fun ❕❗ (A small remark first: In the book the outer appearence and personal data of Clay is not completely described, that's why I'll also use some information from the series to the book.) Clay Jensen is a 16-year-old american boy attending the " Liberty High School ". He lives in Crestmont located in California and works in a movie theater called " The Crestmont ". He's a tall, good-looking (I know, that's objective) young-man with blue eyes and brown hair. He also has a rather square face. Clay is a very interesting character because in the book his character traits aren't really menti...
